The first weekend in December started the same way that the last weekend in November ended - with football betting success!
In the first weekend in December Keith gave five football bets: W11/4, W11/10 and WON EVENS to give a LSP of 2.85pts and a return of 57%.
Winning bets came with the following analysis:
PREMIER LEAGUE: NEWCASTLE v CHELSEA [12.45pm]
C/R 4 - CHELSEA to win @ 11/10
1. Newcastle have a genuine team spirit, a shrewd manager, a cracking in form GK, have lost only one PL match all season, and are unbeaten at home in the PL.
2. Arsenal [0-0], and Spurs [2-2] are the only two Top Six teams who have visited St James' this season and both drew.
3. Chelsea have an absolutely crucial CL home game on Tuesday at home to Valencia which they must win or draw 0-0. That game will surely be part of manager AVB's planning for this PL game.
4. Chelsea are definitely a team low on confidence, with an under fire manager, and they have clear defensive weaknesses. However, they still can be exciting going forward with Mata, Meireles, Ramires and especially Dean Sturridge who could well be a key player today.
5. Newcastle will still be without MF shield Tiote and now Guittierez is also absent and he's been a key player with a huge work rate so he'll be a massive loss today.
IN SUM: With two draws against the two top PL sides that have so far visited St. James and given Chelsea's defensive problems and forthcoming 'crunch' CL game Newcastle can be fancied to at least avoid defeat today. However, Chelsea may at present be more comfortable in away games and have a star striker in Sturridge and having ridden their luck last week at Man Utd the Geordies may find that Chelsea still have plenty of goal potential, so I'll go against the trend and suggest Chelsea can be narrow winners today.
PREMIER LEAGUE: ASTON VILLA v MANCHESTER UNITED [5.30pm]
C/R 3 - MAN UTD to win by a single goal @ 11/4
1. Utd have a vital CL game at Basle on Wednesday, and 'Sir' will surely take that into account in his team selection today.
2. In their last two away PL games Utd have 'nicked' 1-0 wins at Swansea and Everton.
3. Villa in their last two PL home games have conceded 2 goals to Norwich [W 3-2] and West Brom [lost 1-2]. They have good strikers in Agbonlahor and Darren Bent but the continued playing of Emile Heskey remains a mystery.
4. This fixture has been a draw in each of the last 3 seasons.
IN SUM: Looks a really tight game with the draw a real runner - but I'll take Utd to nik another narrow PL win.
CHAMPIONSHIP: LEEDS v MILLWALL [12.30pm]
C/R 6 - LEEDS to win @ EVENS
1. Leeds have now solved their GK problem and in mid week they were impressive when winning 4-0 at in form Nottingham Forest so they have now won 3 of their last 4 CH matches.
2. Millwall haven't scored in their last two away CH games. They were second best when drawing 0-0 at Crystal Palace who missed a penalty, and they lost 1-0 at Blackpool.
3. Leeds have no fresh injuries and could play the same side that won 4-0 on Tuesday, and this season they have always been an attacking side with real goal potential.
4. Today Simon Grayson's men are 'going out to win for Gary Speed' and they will be supported by a big emotional crowd.
IN SUM: Leeds beat Millwall 3-1 in this fixture last year and they can win again today.
This followed on from the last weekend in November, when Keith also gave five football bets including W7/4, W5/4,and WON EVENS to give a LSP of 2pts and a return of 40%.
So in those two weekends there have been 10 bets, 6 wins for a LSP of 4.85pts and a return of 48.5% - So for a £100 level stake you would have made a clear profit of £485.
