After advising back-to-back winners to start 2011 with
LOUIS OOSTHUIZEN WON 10/1 (
Africa Open) and
CHARL SCHWARTZEL WON 9/2 (
Joburg Open), members of
Elliott's Premier Sports Betting celebrated a hat-trick of European Tour winners as No.1 pick
MARTIN KAYMER WON 10/1 in the
Abu Dhabi Championship by 8 shots from No.2 pick
RORY McILROY who was tipped as an
EW bet at 12/1.
Keith Elliott's analysis was, once again, right on the money:
MARTIN KAYMER, 2pts EACH WAY @ 10/1 LA
1. The 26 year old German won 4 times in 2010 incl his first major, the USPGA, when he was a 60/1 winner for us. He has now won 8 times in the last 3 years!!
2. He has an impeccable course record - in the last three years he won in 2008 and 2010 and was 2nd in 2009. He has twice shot 65 here, and his stroke average in the last three years is 67.3 and if you exclude his final round in 2009 when he had a 6 shot lead after R3, and facing his first tour win he 'wobbled' on Sunday and shot 74 - then his last three year stroke average is an amazing 66.72!!
3. He has an ice cool temperament, hits it 'miles' and has a sound all round game.
IN SUM - No obvious reason why he shouldn't play well again here on a track which clearly suits his game.
RORY McILROY, 2pts EACH WAY @ 12/1 LA, SJ, SKY, BO, WH, PP, VC
1. 'Rors' has really good and very progressive form here. He was 11th in 2008 at 7 under, T5th in 2009 at 17 under, and 3rd last year at 19 under. In the last two years his stroke average is 67.5 and his last five rounds average 66.8!
2. Last year he was 3rd in the season's last two majors - The British Open and the USPGA. An inexperienced player with putting his relative weakness, yet in 2010 he was 11th for putts per GIR which was a significant improvement on 2009.
3. The interesting fact is that he has only one European Tour win. However it was in this part of the world as he won the 2009 Dubai Desert Classic. His other win was in America in 2010 when he finished with a 62 to win the Quail Hollow tournament.
IN SUM - The Ryder Cup will have given him a boost as will the amazing form of his buddy Graeme McDowell so added to the fact that he has decided to play only the European Tour this year he can be expected to make a big impact on this course which so suits his accurate long hitting game.
And the winners didn't stop there: - in the Bob Hope Classic in America No.1 pick 22/1 BILL HAAS finished T2nd after losing in a three man play off.
BILL HAAS, 2pts EACH WAY @ 22/1 SJ
1. His 2010 win here was his maiden victory. It was no fluke. He was 1st GIR, he'd had 3 top 25s in his 5 previous starts, and (including 2010) his last 15 Bob Hope rounds now have been in the 60s.
2. Finished the season in very good style, winning the Viking Classic and then, in his next start, finishing 2nd in the McGladrey Classic.
3. A top-notch ball striker and an above-average putter (19th A-R 2010), he blew away any off-season rust with a very solid 8th at Kapalua and didn't play last week so he's fresh.
IN SUM: Looks set to make a bold defence of his title.
...And There's More!!
On top of that success Elliott's Premier Sports Betting members were also advised to have an EW DOUBLE on RORY McILROY and BILL HAAS - with both players finishing second the PLACE DOUBLE WON at 23.3/1.
And remember all these bets were given on Monday afternoon and by 10am on Tuesday morning on the legendary Golf early birdie lines.
PLUS Keith also gave his first GOLF MATCH BET of 2011 and that also WON at 5/6 as McIlroy beat Graeme McDowell.
Winning Football Bets Add To The Profits
Also on Sunday 23rd January there were two TV football matches and guess what - both were correctly called!! TWO BETS RECOMMENDED AND THE TWO BETS WON
The strong bet on QPR WON 4/7 as they beat Coventry, and the 5/4 bet on BLACKBURN also WON as they beat West Brom.
