| Scott became the first man to win the Singapore Open three times with his victory at the Sentosa Golf Club |
18/1 ADAM SCOTT became the FIFTEENTH winning outright bet for
Elliott's Premier Sports Betting this year when he won the
Singapore Open on the European Tour.
Scott's victory - his third in this tournament - was completed with a 3-under-par 68 to give the Australian a three-stroke victory over Anders Hansen.
He was the No.2 pick and with Top Pick GRAEME McDOWELL T3rd at 18/1 Elliott's Premier Sports Betting members were once again counting their winnings - there was a profit on that tournament of 49 points.
All the outright bets are given in the LEGENDARY EARLY BIRDIE LINES either late on Monday or at the latest by 10am on Tuesday morning - so every week Elliott's Premier Sports Betting members get the very best odds about the very best outright golf bets.
Total Profit On All Outright Golf Bets Is Now Over 418 Points
Keith's analysis behind the outright bets on SCOTT and McDOWELL was:
[NO.2 PICK] ADAM SCOTT, TWO POINTS EACH WAY @ 18/1 SKY, BO
Adam really enjoys this course - he won here in 2005 by 7 shots, in 2006 after the tournament was reduced to three rounds he beat Ernie Els in a play off, he was 3rd in 2007 and again last year he was T3rd. He clearly does well on these greens shown by the fact that he was 6th last year both for Total putts and putts per GIR.
His recent form figs are 9-5-15-27-11-25 last week so he's in steady form - indeed in better form than before he won the Texas Open earlier this year.
IN SUM: A proven multiple winner he must have a really solid EW chance this week on a track he likes so much.
[NO.1 PICK] GRAEME McDOWELL, TWO POINTS EACH WAY @ 18/1 SKY, SJ, BF, VC, B365, BO, PP
There are two ways of looking at his form last week when GMac was 34th in the WGC - it could be that he really is worn out and effectively the 'fire' is out after a very tough schedule. On the other hand I think that GMac was mentally jaded after his previous tough but winning week at Valderrrama.
If that is so then this week he has a lot going for him. First he has the incentive to win the 'Race To Dubai' - at present he is 532,000 Euros behind Martin Kaymer yet this week the first prize is a large 713,000 Euros so by winning he could get ahead of Kaymer.
Second, he's proven here as last year he finished T5th [65-67 in R2 +R3] he was then 3rd for Driving Accuracy and 7th for putts per GIR - with confidence now sky high he will surely not blow his chance of winning as he did last year when he shot 74 in R4.
Third, GMac has so far had 3 wins in 2010 including that first major, so that's 7 career wins now - so he sure knows how to reach the winner's enclosure!
And finally, he has also proved himself elsewhere on these Zoysia grass fairways in the 2009 St Jude Classic in America when he shot 63 in R4 when finishing 7th.
IN SUM: He has course form, is having his best ever season 'by a mile' and he has the incentive. So 18/1 is a fair price.
