Members of the service were happy at the start of Fabio Capello's reign as England manager as he was the sole bet to be the
next England manager at
11/2 so we were already in profit when the Italian manager arrived.
However the big question was how far would England under Capello go in the 2010 World Cup?
Well in his message on the eve of the World Cup on Thursday June 10th, Keith analysed England's chance and recommended just one bet:
ENGLAND to be eliminated at the SECOND ROUND stage @ 3/1 B365, SJ
Although England have a really excellent draw I cannot see them doing well:
1. Their ball retention is very poor and at this level and especially in games at altitude teams must keep the ball.
2. There are real doubts about whether some players can 'last' a full tournament.
3. Defensively I think England will be 'found out' especially without Rio Ferdinand as Terry has 'lost his yard', Johnson is simply not a good defender as he thinks like an attacking player, and England do not have a natural MF defensive shield player or a world class GK.
4. Rooney will be 'wound up' deliberately by his opponents and will probably 'snap' at some point.
IN SUM: England to be eliminated at the SECOND ROUND stage - [by either Germany or Serbia] - at 3/1 with B365, SJ looks a fair bet.
With analysis of this quality, doesn't it make sense to have Keith Elliott's advice to hand when it comes to all the big events?
